A minimum of 51 percent of the company's consolidated net revenue must be involved in the original manufacture, design or development of technology products or delivery of services. A nominee must have minimum net revenue of more than $200,000 in both years. Rankings for this year's list were determined on the revenue growth percentage from fiscal 2005 to fiscal 2006. Representatives from PKF Texas validated the information on the nomination form from the information packet. The percentage of revenue growth was computed by comparing net revenue from 2005 to 2006. All companies on the Fast Tech 50 list are winners, earning a salute from both those in the industry and all of Houston. Cognetic supports The Sunshine Kids Foundation's 25th anniversary celebration, as a bronze sponsor.

The Honorary Chairperson will be Kyra Sedgwick. Kyra, star of TNT’s “The Closer” for which she recently received a Golden Globe for “Best Actress in a Drama Series,” will be joined at the celebration by the cast members of “The Closer.” Comedian Bill Engvall, a key player in the Blue Collar Comedy tour, will be our auctioneer for the live auction. The gala will recognize and honor 25 Sunshine Kids, one representing each year the Foundation has been in service. Craig Biggio and the Astros will also be recognized for their support throughout the years.
Dinner, a silent auction, and a live band will complete this star-studded 25th Anniversary celebration. |

Event included Cognetic teams building pine cars from a block of pine wood. Event was located at Kicks indoor sports arena. Team Walker placed first out of the Cognetic pine care finals. Cognetic did not place in overall heats. Team Cognetic did place in the top 7 for best of show. |

Cognetic Networks showed a 711% growth in sales from 1997 to 1999. The Houston 100 profiles Houston's fastest-growing businesses based on sales over a three-year period.
